Please note the following on technical tools:
- The codebase a Contributor should develop against is the latest stable tree from http://mysql.bkbits.com.
- For now, communication between Contributor and MySQL Mentor (discussions, patch submissions, etc) is handled via email.
- Emails should normally copy contributions <at> lists <dot> mysql <dot> com.
- We plan to make the main community tree to work with available from a source repository enabling direct interaction by Contributors.
- We are also planning to open up worklog, bugs.mysql.com and suitable IRC channels, to enable Contributors to be part of these work tools and communities, as normal MySQL developers.
