[edit] Birds of a Feather Session Notes
Following are BoF sessions that are known to be accepted (not yet scheduled). Add yours! (when they are scheduled, we can put links in and remove the abstracts from here) Outcomes and resources will be added from each session, but you want to be there anyway!
[edit] Stump the MySQL Community Experts!
Put your MySQL problems before Arjen, PeterZ, Baron, and a gang of other active MySQL Community members present at the MySQL Conference. See if they can work it out!
Watch them squirm, argue, and astonish you with their wit and proficiency.
[edit] Local MySQL Groups
With MySQL user groups thriving around the world, the MySQL Conference is an ideal opportunity for local group organisers and participants to share experiences and exchange ideas. Please add your group to the list if you intend to be at this BoF!

[edit] What if... a relational view of hierarchies and graphs
Have you been yearning to deal with your menu structure or social network using plain SQL queries, joining on to your other data? What if... that can actually be done?
A meetup of developers who are interested in relational hierarchy/graph functionality! Arjen is currently developing a storage engine for this purpose. He will show how it’s done, and preview how to use it. Discussion is encouraged, exploring possible uses, things it must do to be useful for you, and so on.
Most applications use trees (hierarchies) or graphs (networks) in some form, and dealing with them is the scourge of many developer. It is important to discuss experiences and explore ideas to improve how we manage them.
