Its good to have new and updated connector/net. It helps a lot for developers who use .net platform. But it will be good if oledb connector is also included as part of connector/net. In many organizations where SSIS of MS SQL Server is used for integration people faced difficulty to connect the mysql server due to non availability of oledb provider for MySQL. Even Oracle Data connector provide an oledb provider for Oracle. Hope it will be included in the next release of Connector/Net. Regards, Omer Farooq
