WL#4085: Discontinue the Instance Manager

Affects: Server-5.5 — Status: Complete — Priority: Medium

Discontinue the instance manager. Another program will be released open source
in future to replace it (the monitoring tools agent).

1) Get a buy in of all parties:

* development: done, not used internally in any development tools,
including test tools, enterprise and GUI tools
* support
Done.

* knowledge base (Notified)

* server documentation
Done.

2) Remove the instance manager from the source code. 
Done.

3) Update the Manual.
